In October 2022, The Princess Theatre swung open its doors, refreshed and faithfully revived, and invited Brisbane audiences to celebrate with an official launch party.

Guests were treated to a smorgasbord of incredible local talent, taking over the space for two days of music, art, booze, bangers, and everything in between.

As the first official event since The Princess was reclaimed for Brisbane's vibrant arts sector, Open Housewarming was the start of something special. The two-day celebration gave the local community an opportunity to commemorate the building's rich cultural history while providing a taste of what can be expected from The Princess’ next chapter.
